Bajo El Sol Jaguar by Jorge Reyes is a mesmerizing album that takes the listener on a journey through the ancient cultures of Mexico. Reyes, a master of the pre-Hispanic instruments, creates a soundscape that is both haunting and beautiful.

From the opening track "El Cazador," which features the sound of the jaguar, to the closing track "Tonantzin," which pays homage to the goddess of fertility, Reyes weaves a tapestry of sound that is both mystical and evocative.

The album's standout track is "Comala," which features Reyes' haunting vocals and the sound of the ocarina. The track transports the listener to the mythical town of Comala, made famous by the Mexican author Juan Rulfo.
